You know, I just noticed on my profile there's a tagline "Needs Premium Membership". When did that appear?

I don't exactly drop by here all that often (and moreover I'm currently abroad so at the moment, even less) so I haven't noticed it before, and I can't say I'm terribly pleased now that I have. It's just tasteless, and frankly I prefer to hang around websites which aren't always trying to sell me something, anyway (unless it's Threadless, oh Threadless my love).

DeviantART has yet to create a service I have an interest in paying for, and the idea of them trying to sell something to another person claiming it's something I need just disgusts me. Not that anyone would pay for a membership for me, because y'all are irked at the same things about this site as I am.
