So I got stimulated the other day. What that entails is the nancy-boy prime minister who I did not elect decided to give me free spending money which is a little creepy and sugar-daddy like, but on the plus side; hey free money.

Anyway, today I’m floating on a cloud of fairly-happy because this has funded a lovely software splurge and allowed me to purchase some much needed; much lusted after software.

Painter 11 – which doesn’t sound as cool as Painter X but which I expect to be just as fun as the trial of Painter X I played around with when it came out (how quickly time passes) and Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium featuring InDesign, an updated version of Photoshop (I’ve been using PS7 for years), Illustrator (better for refining vectors than Inkscape and working with more file types and better ability to use colour), Flash, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat. Either way it’s very cool because I’m going to be able to better finish and refine my work now and also be able to put together my website which will be funded from the remainder of the one-off bonus money. I'm excited about that.

So things are looking fairly cool at the moment. I’m looking forward to be able to use these programs to expand what I’m doing. The coming months should be interesting.
